How do I create an account?
Download the My Driving Instructor app from the App Store or Google Play. Open the app and tap "Start", then choose whether you're a Student or Instructor. Enter your email and create a password, then verify your email address to complete registration.
How do I find a driving instructor near me?
After logging in as a Student, enter your postcode on the home screen. You'll see a list of verified driving instructors in your area. Browse their profiles, read reviews, and view their availability before requesting a lesson.
How do I book a lesson?
Search for instructors by entering your postcode. View instructor profiles, then tap "Book a Lesson" or "Book a Package". Choose your preferred date, time, and lesson duration. Add a pickup location and any notes, then submit the request and wait for the instructor to confirm.
How much does the app cost for students?
The My Driving Instructor app is completely free for students. You can search for instructors, book lessons, and communicate with your instructor at no cost. Lesson prices are set by individual instructors and paid directly to them.
How much does it cost for instructors?
Instructors can try the app free for 14 days. After the trial, a subscription is required to remain visible to students and receive booking requests. We offer affordable monthly and annual plans. You can cancel your subscription at any time.
How do I cancel my instructor subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Go to your device's settings, find Subscriptions, locate My Driving Instructor, and select Cancel. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
How do I verify my instructor credentials?
After creating an instructor account, go to your profile and tap "Verify Documents". Upload a clear photo of your ADI or PDI badge and your driving licence. Our team will review and verify your documents, usually within 24-48 hours.
How do I cancel or reschedule a lesson?
Go to your Calendar in the app and find the lesson you want to change. Tap on the lesson and select "Cancel" or "Request Reschedule". Please give your instructor as much notice as possible. Individual cancellation policies are set by each instructor.
How do I leave a review for my instructor?
After completing a lesson, you'll receive a prompt to rate your experience. You can also leave a review by going to the instructor's profile and tapping "Write a Review". Reviews help other students find great instructors.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account, please contact us at support@mydrivinginstructor.org with your request. We'll process your deletion within 48 hours. If you have an active subscription, make sure to cancel it first through your app store.
